A delegation from the Jiangsu People's Assembly was in Brazil to strengthen cultural and commercial ties with local authorities and institutions. At a meeting held in Rio de Janeiro, new opportunities for cooperation between China and Brazil were highlighted, especially in the areas of education, research, infrastructure and energy transition. The visit reinforces Jiangsu's strategic role in bilateral relations and the mutual commitment to sustainable development and cultural exchange.

The Rio de Janeiro State Legislative Assembly (Alerj) celebrated Chinese New Year with a special ceremony at the Tiradentes Palace, highlighting the strong relationship between Brazil and China. The event, promoted by the Brazil-China Parliamentary Front and coordinated by deputy Tia Ju, was attended by the Consul General of China in Rio, Tian Min, as well as cultural performances, interactive activities and speeches emphasising the strategic partnership between the countries.
