On 10 June, the Opening Ceremony of the HSK Rio-2024 Chinese Language Basic Education Programme took place at the Planetarium in Rio de Janeiro. 🇨🇳🇧🇷
In this year that marks 50 years of solid and prosperous relations between Brazil and China, RioMont was delighted to bring teachers Aline Yu and Sônia Zhang to Brazil to teach this programme under the supervision of the Director of the Confucius Institute, Sônia Yanping.
Present at this ceremony were Ms Márcia Melchior, President of RioMont, Ms Liu Yue and Ms Zhang Mo, from the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Rio de Janeiro, Ms Sonia Yanping, from the Confucius Institute PUC-Rio, Mr Theo Schunck from the Metrópole Institute, Mr Leo Farias, Secretary General of the Brazil/China Friendship Institute, Mr Rodrigo D'Euzzi, from the Nova Janaan Intercultural Economy Institute. Leo Farias, Secretary General of the Brazil/China Friendship Institute, Ms Claudia Januzzi, from the Brazil/China Creative Economy Institute, Mr Rodrigo D'Eca from Centro Intercultural Nova Jornada Ltda. and Mr Xu Yuansheng, Counsellor of the Economic and Commercial Section of the Chinese Embassy in El Salvador (online participation) among others.
