Yesterday, at the invitation of the Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Rio de Janeiro, Ms Tian Min, we had the honour of attending a very special event. The celebrations marked the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, an important milestone in the country's history.
The event was filled with moments of great symbolism, reinforcing the diplomatic ties between Brazil and China. The presence of various authorities and personalities emphasised the importance of this relationship for both countries.
We had the unique opportunity to learn more about Chinese culture, its traditions and the trajectory of development over the decades. The Consul General's speech was inspiring, highlighting the continued growth and prospects for the future.
We feel privileged to have been invited to celebrate such a significant date alongside representatives from different spheres. This experience will certainly be remembered as a moment of international unity and celebration.
