On 24 May 2023, President, Henrique Couto da Nóbrega and the Second Secretary, Edson Barroso FernandesDanillo Santos, both from the Sino-Brazilian Association, were received by the Commercial Consul, Xu Yuanshengat the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Rio de Janeiro.
Among the subjects discussed were the friendly relations between the two countries, especially in the cultural, academic and economic spheres, as well as the importance of the Consulate's support for the Danillo Santos Sino-Brazilian Association, with a view to continuing the relationship between the two countries in various areas.
Further visits to the Consulate were scheduled for June 2023 to discuss partnerships between the Association and the Consulate, as well as a personal presentation by the Association's founders to the Consul General of China in Rio de Janeiro.
